.com.eg and .eg for companies in Egypt
NGDC accepts company applications for .com.eg and .eg through our Egyptian domain application form. Enter the registered company name, representative’s contact details and preferred domain, then upload clear images of the Commercial Register and Tax Card privately. These are our initial review documents; the registration provider may request further evidence or authorisation.
The name and documents must be reviewed before approval and registration. Submitting the form is not an instant availability result, a reservation or a completed registration. We contact you about pricing and next steps. Use the private form for documents, not email or WhatsApp.
Choose a memorable name
Choose a spelling that is easy to say, type and recognise. For an Egyptian audience, consider how it sounds in Arabic and English. Keep alternatives and check for confusion with existing brands. Domain availability alone is not confirmation that a name is legally safe to use.
Consider the extension
Common options include .com, .net and .org. Country-specific extensions may have separate eligibility or documentation requirements. Tell the team your preferred extension so availability and registry requirements can be checked; this page does not promise support for every extension.
Confirm ownership and renewal
- Confirm the registrant details and who can manage the domain.
- Ask for the registration period, expiry date, initial price and renewal price.
- Agree how renewal notices and payments will be handled.
- Check who can update DNS and how a future transfer would work.
- Ask whether privacy services are available for the chosen extension and which information is required.
Protect your email during a move
If you own a domain already, using new hosting may only require a DNS change. That is different from transferring the registration. Before changing nameservers, identify existing website and email records and agree which must remain in place. Do not replace working mail settings without a migration plan.
Is a domain included with hosting?
Do not assume registration is included in the listed Cloud hosting prices. Ask for a quote covering the domain, hosting, VAT and additional work. Our hosting guide for Egypt explains the four cPanel plans.
Ask NGDC about your name
Send your preferred domain and two alternatives to support@ngdc.com.eg or WhatsApp support. For an existing domain, explain whether you need hosting, a DNS change or a registration transfer. Never send passwords or payment-card details. You can compare hosting plans while the enquiry is reviewed.
